Terms of Service
Template notice: this is a starting template, not final legal terms. It requires review by qualified legal counsel before publication, and must be updated once real pricing and account terms are decided.
Beta status
VaultMaster is currently offered as a free beta. Features, availability, and terms may change as the product develops. We'll communicate material changes to existing users in advance rather than silently.
Your responsibility
Because your vault is encrypted locally with a key derived from your master password, you are the only party who can unlock it. There is no password reset mechanism — losing your master password means losing access to your vault. This is a direct consequence of the product's privacy architecture, not an oversight.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use VaultMaster for unlawful purposes or to attempt to circumvent its security mechanisms in ways that would compromise other users.
No warranty during beta
As beta software, VaultMaster is provided without guarantee of uninterrupted availability. We aim for reliability, but beta users should maintain their own encrypted export/backup of their vault.
